Thanks for those that came down to volunteer, spectate and race yesterday. The wind behaved itself and was consistent all day and only dropped down a bit.
We had a great turnout for the 25hp with 5 boats racing and all the racers ended up being pretty tight. Amanda Owen-Tucker (in her 2nd race day) almost took the win in the 3rd race of the day, but ran out of fuel at the end of the third lap! I am sure we will see a win in the next few race days from her.
We only had the 2x 15hp racing yesterday and Xavier's boat, was flying along yesterday. This is a class we would love to see greater numbers in. There is a number of 15hp for sale and available to use, to please let us know if you have anyone interested. The club and the club members will definitely pull together to get another boat on the water.
We had 3x 15hp Snr's, again a lot of fun and it is always great to see these guys out and how the boats perform differently compared to the junior races.
Just the 2x Tunnel Boats yesterday. Tomika was trialing a few different props during the day and once that boat has been set up, will be flying along. Michael Britten was his consistent self.
Peter Price brought his Blown Boat down "007" for a run before taking the boat to Adelaide. That boat is so impressive on the water and always great to watch. Safe travels to Adelaide guys and best of luck.
The Graham Hull Invitational will now be run on the February Race Day at the request of Graham.
Our next race day is the 8th December, so hope to see you all down there.
We have pencilled in the 20th December for our Christmas get together, so please keep an eye out on your email/socials for the invite.
Thanks again everyone and great to see everyone.
